How long before my payment posts?

Since we make all payments electronically and directly to the biller, it's effectively the same as if you paid them via their website. Because of this, most billers will credit payments almost immediately. We always pay your bill on the day you schedule it to be paid; when the payment actually posts the payment depends on each biller. Larger billers will typically reflect a payment the same day, while some smaller billers can take up to several business days to post a payment. It can take a bit longer when a payment is made just before the weekend, since Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days. When a payment is made through Prism, though, we do receive a confirmation number from the biller when they confirm payment.
